DIG successfully installs Langston Saturn into Russia
DIG Corrugated has successfully completed the relocation and installation of a Langston Saturn III into St Petersburg. The machine was removed from Scotland during December and transported to Russia.
The project involved three of DIG’s engineers working at the new AssiDoman plant in St Petersburg for 21 days. DIG also trained the machine operators and maintenance staff, and the machine is now running full production.
Tony Newson, technical director for DIG, said "The logistical, cultural and language challenges made this one of our most difficult projects we have recently undertaken. We are very happy with the successful outcome."
